GENERAL INFORMATION

Ride gentle horses through the giant, old growth forest of Armstrong Redwoods State Reserve. Explore Sonoma County's Coastal Mountains in adjoining Austin Creek State Park. Inspiring vistas, pristine streams, protected wildlife. Fine American Quarter Horses for all levels of experience.

Small personal rides are guided exclusively by the owners, Jonathan and Laura Ayers, and include extra time for instruction and panoramic rest or lunch stops. A first class wilderness adventure. 
 

POOL RIDGE TRAIL RIDE                       $100             
  • 10:30 to 1 pm
  • 2 pm to 4:30 pm
  • Flexible hours off season with optional lunch stop.   11am to 2pm is popular.
  • Riding time 1.5 hours, plus rest stop.

FULL DAY RIDES  Bring lunch, saddlebags provided.  Four person minimum in Summer, or phone for availability if less riders.*

Horse Heaven               11am to 3:30                

McCray Mountain:     10:30am to 4:00

PRIVATE RIDE   Double the price of any trail ride.   2 person minimum.  

 

  • Available May-October, weather and trail conditions permitting. Rain cancels ride. 
  • *Flexible Off-Season schedule, Rides may include extra hour to enjoy your picnic. Summer party minimums decrease by two riders during the Off-Season.
  • Children 10 years minimum.
  • Parent of Minor must sign our release (Click and print). Release can also be mailed upon request. 
  • No sandals or shorts. Bring drinking water. Saddlebags provided.
  • Riders must be in good physical condition and able to mount without assistance.
  • Maximum weight, 200 pounds, BMI under 30.
  • Prices and schedule subject to change.
